Robotics research is a multi-disciplinary activity, including computer science, microbiology, psychology, electronic and mechanical engineering. The diverse nature of the field requires collaboration between specialists in academia, the manufacturing industries and the arts. BRL members consist of researchers, technicians and postgraduate students from the University of Bristol and the University of the West of England located in a specialist laboratory within the Bristol Business Park. The laboratory collaborates with national and international research institutions as well as industrial partners. This section will contain a full database of the academics and associates of BRL.
